Additionally, McAsphalt provides comprehensive services and technology solutions, encompassing paving, testing, research and development, engineering, and consulting.Position SummaryThe Facility Operator position at McAsphalt is the starting position of new employees with no previous experience.Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesThis is a full-time seasonal position, your responsibilities as a Liquid Asphalt Terminal Operator will include, but are not be limited to:

Loading/offloading trucks and rail
Inventory counts including tank fluid levels
Site clean-up
Assist in plant maintenance and improvements
Forklift operation
Other general labor duties
You will follow all standard operating procedures and policies established by the McAsphalt Operations department.

Shift Information8 hour days, 40 hours per week with shift rotations between days, evenings and some weekends. Occasionally, overtime may be necessary depending on the needs of our operation.Required Qualifications

Minimum High School Diploma: some college is an asset
A strong work ethic and ability to work in a small team(s)
A reliable method of transportation to and from work in a timely manner
Ability to work effectively under pressure, being responsible, resourceful and autonomous
Ability to work outdoors at height and in all environments
Ability to provide a positive interaction with customers and truck drivers
Knowledge in pumps, piping, heat tracing, hot oil heaters will be considered an asset
Lastly, a good sense of humor will also be a great asset.
