Under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager, the Pharmacy Warehouse Technician supports inventory, shipping, receiving, and logistics operationsDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAssists with inventory control, including receiving, stocking, and maintaining recordsCreate courier labels efficiently and accuratelyTrace and track shipments to ensure timely deliveryPrepares outgoing deliveries using validated packaging to ensure the quality of the medication is maintained throughout the logistics processVerifies and unloads incoming shipments at a warehousePerforms quality inspection when receiving goods, record shortages and reject damaged itemsStores or stocks the items in their appropriate placesMaintain freezer packs in sufficient quantity and quality to ensure temperature-controlled shippingOperate lift truck or pump truck from shipping and receiving platform to storage areaResponsible for managing the returns processSort, count, identify, verify and track all materials to maintain accurate inventory recordsParticipates in quality assurance activities as directedPerforms general housekeeping duties in the warehouseWorks with Pharmacy Operations Manager regarding any performance management issues or concernsAssembles, labels and provides supplies as required under specific contractsPerforms other duties as assignedREPORTINGThe Warehouse Technician reports directly to the Pharmacy Manager. The Warehouse Technician also liaises with the BSRx employees as appropriate.QualificationsEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalentExperience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlinesLanguage SkillsAbility to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memosAbility to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to organization employeesMathematical SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimalsReasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formOther Skills and AbilitiesAbility to organize workload for efficient use of timeAbility to function independently
