Position OverviewSecuriguard Services Ltd. is seeking reliable and self-motivated Remote Site Security Guards to support operations at a remote location near Elkford, British Columbia.This is a camp-based role, with accommodations provided; however, all security duties are performed at a separate job site (not within the camp itself). A company vehicle is provided during shifts and is based at the job site.This role is ideal for individuals who are comfortable working in remote and isolated environments and can maintain a high level of professionalism, vigilance, and independence.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and control access at the assigned job site, ensuring only authorized personnel enter the premisesConduct regular patrols of the job site and surrounding operational areas to identify and address security risksMaintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation of daily activities and incidentsRespond promptly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, and alarmsEnforce site rules, safety protocols, and company policies at all timesProvide professional and courteous customer service to staff, visitors, and contractorsPerform vehicle-based patrols using the assigned company vehicleWork independently during night shifts while maintaining strong situational awarenessCommunicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding any concerns or incidentsSchedule & CompensationRotation: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks offShift: 12-hour night shifts (1800 - 0600)Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour + overtime (as applicable)Travel: Up to 4 hours paid travel to site (each direction)RequirementsValid BC Security Worker License (SWL)Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving recordAbility to pass a drug & alcohol testCompletion of fit testing (for PPE requirements)Must complete online orientation and onboarding training prior to deploymentPhysically fit and able to work in a remote and potentially challenging environmentStrong communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience in remote, industrial, or resource sector securityFirst Aid/CPR certification (asset)Experience working night shifts and extended rotationsCandidates located within 4 hours of the site are preferredWorking ConditionsCamp-based accommodation with shared living arrangementsSecurity duties performed at a separate remote job siteExtended night shifts in varying weather conditionsMust be comfortable working in isolated locations with limited access to urban amenitiesWhy Join Securiguard?Clear career development and advancement opportunitiesSpecialized training for those interested in law enforcement careersFull benefits package for full-time employeesPaid training and ongoing educationFrequent opportunities for overtime
