- Process transactions, including sales, payment processing, and making change, according to POS and cash handling procedures.
- Properly and accurately balance the cash drawer daily.
- Maintains all credit card receipts, room charge receipts, comps, and vouchers with required signatures.
- Organizes paperwork in an orderly manner.
- Be knowledgeable of property facilities, services, hours of operation, in-house events, conferences, and amenities to proactively assist guests.
- May be required to answer the phones in specific restaurants.
- Provide accurate wait times.
- Operate POS system.
- Ensure Kiosks are operational and communicate any software or hardware issues to management.
- Responsible for understanding the functionality of the kiosk.
- Assist in replenishing kiosks with cash and receipt paper.
- Responsible for impress bank issued while performing external guest and in-house monetary transactions.
- Prepare paperwork, balance sheets and documents in accordance with the NJ Gaming Regulations and withing the guidelines of Internal Controls.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- At least 1 year work experience in similar setting helpful.
- Previous money handling skills preferred.
- Computer skills a plus
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and work in a loud environment.
- Ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to walk distances.
- The employee must frequently lift/push/pull and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a highly regulated and controlled environment, but there will be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor to complete job functions as outlined or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, excessive noise.
