Learn about the Danaher Business System which makes everything possible.The Nucleic Acids and Nanomedicine (NANM) business is part of the Biotechnology segment at Danaher, we bring together dedicated technical expertise and talent to develop the next generation of life-changing therapeutics.The Senior Project Manager - Lipid Nanoparticle Screening will work within the Vancouver R&D project team to develop and run a high throughput screening and data analytics tool. The technical project lead will have experience or a good understanding of a broad range of skills: robotics, laboratory automation, wetlab assays, analytical processes, data processing and analytics, and machine learning.This position reports to the Senior Director and is part of the Nucleic Acids and Nanomedicine Business Unit's R&D team located in Vancouver, BC and will be an on-site role.What you'll do:
  • Lead the project team creating an mRNA drug delivery screening and development platform that automates and accelerates the lipid nanoparticle drug delivery design process
  • Understand overall project requirements, participating in the planning, monitoring and execution and provide support upon completion
  • Oversee development of the data management and processing system
  • Drive development of internal and/or integrate external data analysis and machine learning tools
Who you are:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Science or equivalent.
  • Preference for 7+ years' experience in product development, chemistry/chemical engineering, and/or life sciences R&D.
  • Electro-mechanical design, robotics, and/or laboratory automation experience
  • Process mapping and optimization experience
  • Good knowledge of structured root cause analysis
  • Experience with data analytics, design of experiments and real-world model validation
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
  • Direct wetlab and lab management experience running assays and using analytical equipment
  • Machine learning and/or AI experience
  • Software development
  • Bioassays and bioassay development
The salary range for this role is $95,000-$120,000 CAD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
