RFP 25-098 – Knowledge Content SpecialistLocation: 889 Brock Road, Pickering (100% remote)Job OverviewWe are seeking a Knowledge Content Specialist to lead the development, organization, and optimization of knowledge resources across Shared Services. In this role, you will create and manage content such as ServiceNow knowledge base articles, job aids, process documentation, and internal presentations—ensuring materials are clear, accessible, and engaging.Your work will directly empower employees by supporting seamless self-service, enabling faster onboarding, and improving process understanding across the organization. If you excel at simplifying complex information into easy-to-use resources, this role is a strong fit.Key ResponsibilitiesTranslate technical and operational content into clear, concise, and engaging knowledge materials.Develop and maintain knowledge articles, process documentation, presentations, and job aids to support employee learning and self-service.Apply plain language, accessibility standards, and visual best practices to all content.Establish and enforce standards for content quality, formatting, taxonomy, and metadata.Create templates, toolkits, and style guides to enable consistent contributions from other teams.Use analytics and feedback to evaluate content effectiveness and identify improvements.Partner with IT, HR, employee experience, and communications teams to align content with organizational needs.Qualifications3+ years of experience in knowledge management, content strategy, technical writing, or instructional design.Strong writing, editing, and visual communication skills, with a proven ability to simplify complex concepts.Experience with ServiceNow Knowledge Management (or similar platforms).Familiarity with creating SOPs, flowcharts, slide decks, or other knowledge formats.Understanding of UX principles and employee self-service portals (preferred).Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Spirit Omega is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
