Our Toronto-based client is seeking an experienced SAP Architect Finance Group Reporting Lead contractor to join their project starting October 15, 2025 and will run for 12 to 24 months with possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience as an SAP Architect specializing in Group Reporting and Finance along with proven track record of leading implementations in S/4HANA, particularly within the Group Reporting module for consolidation and period-end close activities. This will be a hybrid role with 2 - 3 days of on site work.Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading the end-to-end design of the S/4HANA Group Reporting solution, ensuring it meets business requirements for financial consolidation, reporting, and the period-end close process.
  • Serving as the highest-level authority on Group Reporting, providing guidance and approval on all functional and technical design decisions.
  • Working closely with senior finance and IT stakeholders to translate business needs into a scalable and efficient system architecture.
  • Leading the project's build, configuration, testing, and deployment phases, ensuring alignment with the designed architecture and best practices.
  • Architecting and overseeing the seamless integration of Group Reporting with other SAP modules (e.g., FI-CO, BRIM) and non-SAP systems.
  • Mentoring functional consultants and developers, providing expert advice, and ensuring the project team adheres to the architectural blueprint.
  • Establishing and enforcing governance, standards, and quality measures to ensure the integrity and performance of the reporting solution.
