Wage Range: $39.20 - $58.80 per hour
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: Variable 24/7 and On-Call
Status: Permanent Full Time

Location: Easy access via public transit (TTC and GO), and free shuttle between TGH and TWH
Education: Monthly CT Rounds for Technologists which are led by clinical and practice leads

  • Performs CT procedures, some General Radiography (when needed), and digital quality assurance
  • Communicates with team members and management personnel
  • Participates in professional development, teaching and educational activities, and mentoring
  • This position requires a rotation to another UHN site, to be determined.
Qualifications
  • Registration with the CMRITO
  • Previous General Imaging experience
  • Completion of a BCLS program, Level II: Basic Rescuer certification
  • One (1) year recent experience in related area of responsibility, required
  • Current experience (within the last 5 years) in computed tomography, required
  • Ability to demonstrate sensitivity towards patients in a challenging situation
  • Demonstrated strong technical skills and image quality
  • Knowledge of basic anatomy and pathology
  • Effective time management skills, ability to organize work, and set priorities
  • Ability to work accurately under stressful conditions
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a supportive team environment
  • Excellent problem solving and recognition skills
  • Commitment to continuing education
  • Excellent teaching skills
  • Demonstrated good work performance and attendance history
  • Effective computer skills
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Previous Level 3 CT experience or willing to be trained up to a Level 3 CT, preferred
  • Membership with the CAMRT, preferred
  • Completion of certified injection course, preferred
  • Currently enrolled in the CTIC offered by the CAMRT, preferred
