
Ferrous Trader

- Developing and managing a portfolio of suppliers and buyers for recycled metal material
- Sourcing materials domestically and/or internationally and negotiate terms of sale or purchase
- Evaluating market trends and pricing indicators to develop trading strategies and optimize margins
- Executing trades with full ownership of pricing, logistics coordination, risk management, and compliance
- Building long-term relationships with scrap yards, smelters, brokers, and industrial end-users
- Collaborating with logistics, operations, finance, and compliance teams to ensure seamless execution of deals
- Maintaining accurate records of trading activity and client interactions in CRM and ERP systems
- Preparing and deliver internal reports on trade performance, margins, and market forecasts
- You have a bachelor's degree in business, Economics, International Trade, or a related field (preferred)
- You have experience in commodities trading; experience with international trade and logistics is a plus
- You have the ability to manage P&L, assess risk, and make high stakes trading decisions
- You have an understanding of commodity markets, pricing models, and supply chain logistics
- You have excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- You are proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, or equivalent)
- You have the ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
