Job Title: Quarry ManagerPosition Summary:
The Quarry Manager is responsible for leading the quarry department, ensuring safety, quality, and environmental compliance while overseeing all aspects of daily operations. This includes implementing organizational initiatives, managing the mine plan, and developing a high-performing mining team.Key Responsibilities:Promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship across all quarry activities.Lead and supervise daily quarry operations to ensure productivity and efficiency. * Oversee short- and long-term mine planning, including participation in 5-year mine planning efforts.Review mining KPIs regularly, identifying and driving improvement opportunities.Set a strong leadership example and promote a values-based workplace culture.Make staffing decisions and resolve personnel issues in a timely and professional manner.Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in surface mining or quarry operations, including leadership roles.
Strong understanding of mine planning, production processes, and environmental compliance.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team development skills.Proficiency with mining software, Microsoft Office, and production reporting systems.Work Environment:This role requires regular work in outdoor and industrial environments, including exposure to varying weather conditions, dust, and noise.Must be able to walk on uneven terrain and around heavy machinery.
