- Translate complex data and environmental milestones—such as EV adoption, greenhouse gas reductions, and waste diversion—into clear, engaging content.
- Support storytelling efforts via reports, videos, social media, digital signage, presentations, and campaign materials.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure sustainability messaging aligns with our brand and enhances customer engagement.
- Amplify the work of the OpenRoad Foundation by showcasing charitable giving, community partnerships, and associate involvement.
- Plan and support campaigns, donation drives, events, and volunteer activities, capturing impactful stories that inspire.
- Develop social media content, internal communications, and event messaging to increase awareness of our community contributions.
- Engage associates with our Mission, Vision & Values through newsletters, digital content, signage, and storytelling.
- Support internal campaign rollouts, associate recognition programs, and cross-department initiatives that reinforce our culture of care.
- Create communication toolkits and messaging for town halls, board meetings, and community presentations.
- Coordinate communications efforts across teams, track impact, and develop campaigns with clear objectives and timelines.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, nonprofit partners, and internal stakeholders to maintain brand consistency and achieve measurable outcomes.
- Contribute to planning calendars and provide insights to improve future initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Environmental Studies, Sustainability, Public Relations, Marketing, or related discipline.
- 3–5 years’ experience in sustainability communications, CSR, nonprofit sector, internal communications, or public relations.
- Experience in automotive or retail sectors is an advantage.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to create compelling content for diverse audiences (internal teams, customers, partners, media).
- Ability to simplify complex sustainability and ESG topics for broad understanding.
- Familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks such as GRI, SASB, or TCFD is an asset.
- Proficient in multi-channel communications, including social media, digital platforms, newsletters, and internal communication tools.
- Experience with content creation and design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong project management skills, able to juggle multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder relationships.
- Collaborative, adaptable, and solutions-oriented mindset with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Passion for sustainability, community engagement, and automotive innovation.
