Adecco is hiring a Regional Sales Manager on behalf of our client, a leading manufacturer and distributor in the power tools and equipment space. This role is ideal for a proven sales leader who can drive territory growth, build high-performing teams, and deepen relationships across distributor, retail, and contractor channels throughout Ontario.What you'll do
  • Hire, lead, coach, and develop a regional sales team; set clear goals, ride-alongs, and development plans to elevate performance.
  • Monitor activities and pipeline, provide regular performance feedback, and conduct formal performance reviews.
  • Own regional sales targets and budget; forecast accurately, track KPIs, and deliver growth against plan.
  • Lead and participate in customer meetings, joint sales calls, product demos, and regional events.
  • Coordinate and represent the brand at trade shows, industry associations, and networking events.
  • Execute national go-to-market programs and sales initiatives in your territory; localize for market needs.
  • Conduct ongoing competitive and market analysis; share insights and best practices to inform strategy.
  • Maintain timely, accurate CRM records on call activity, conversions, and wins; submit concise monthly summaries.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Operations to remove blockers and accelerate growth.
  • Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.
What you'll bring
  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 5+ years of success in power tool, industrial, construction, or related B2B sales, including channel/distributor management.
  • Demonstrated experience building and leading sales teams with a track record of hitting and exceeding targets.
  • Proven ability to develop territory plans, forecasts, and budgets and to execute with discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of power tools and applications; credible with trades, contractors, and retail partners.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), presentation skills, and professional presence.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM tools; data-driven decision-maker.
  • Valid Ontario Class G driver's licence and clean driving record/abstract required.
  • Highly organized, accountable, and collaborative; able to set priorities, delegate, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual English/French is an asset.
