- Lead the development and implementation of job bands, salary structures, and job evaluation frameworks across the organization
- Support the design and launch of the performance management module, ensuring alignment with compensation programs and processes
- Administer base pay and incentive programs, including merit increases and bonus plans
- Conduct job evaluations and maintain internal equity and market competitiveness
- Provide recommendations on compensation changes in line with company guidelines and philosophy
- Participate in annual salary surveys, benchmarking, and audit processes
- Prepare compensation analysis and reporting to support HR and leadership decision-making
- Leverage HRIS, payroll, and compensation data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities
- Support offer development, including compensation recommendations and employment documentation
- Maintain and ensure accuracy of compensation data within HR systems
- Assist with compensation budgeting and forecasting processes
- Partner with HR, Payroll, and business leaders to provide guidance on compensation practices
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and reporting efficiencies
- Participate in special projects and other duties as required
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of direct experience in compensation program design and administration
- Proven experience building job bands, salary structures, or job evaluation frameworks is required
- Experience supporting or implementing performance management systems or modules is strongly preferred
- Experience in a retail or multi-location environment is considered an asset
- Experience with HRIS systems such as ADP Workforce Now (WFN) is preferred
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation, or in-progress, is an asset
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data modeling
- Ability to interpret data and translate it into clear, actionable recommendations
- Strong understanding of compensation principles, job evaluation methodologies, and market benchmarking
- Working knowledge of Canadian employment standards and legislation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to identify and implement process improvements
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and contribute as part of a high performing team
