
Facilities Team Lead - Contract

- Oversee the daily operations of all hard and soft services at the site, in alignment with Facilities service standards.
- Act as the frontline “Lead” for Facilities Coordinators and Associates, providing guidance, task delegation, and support.
- Serve as the first point of escalation for service tickets, shipping/receiving, events, and services listed within the Standard Operating Model (SOM).
- Lead onsite coordination of events, ensuring timely, professional, and seamless execution for clients and staff.
- Monitor and oversee the delivery of onsite services including site safety (e.g., janitorial, coffee services, waste, etc.).
- Support new hire onboarding, workspace changes, and facility-related moves, ensuring databases and drawings are up to date.
- Provide backup support for the Technical Coordinator and assist with troubleshooting basic AV, kitchen, and facilities-related equipment.
- Assist with the execution of preventative maintenance schedules and equipment upkeep as per LCAM plans.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) within the facilities team, offering operational insight and coaching when required.
- Provide coverage for Facilities Associates as needed, ensuring service continuity.
- Assist with Purchase Order and invoice processing in coordination with the Finance team.
- Support health and safety initiatives in alignment with the site’s H&S Plan.
- Post-secondary business or technical diploma preferred
- FMP or SFP (Facilities Management Professional) designation an asset
- 3+ years of experience in a facilities or operational support role
- Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred
