- Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy workplace behaviours at all times
- Proactively source skilled trade workers through various strategies and initiatives to meet Toromont’s annual recruiting goals; conduct pre-screens and behaviour based interviews.
- Manage background checks and behavioural assessments to completion for hires.
- Leverage our ATS (UKG / UltiPro) and other data tracking tools in a timely manner to capture and all recruiting activity for effective reporting.
- Deliver a superior customer experience to all customers and stakeholders
- Undertake other relevant assignments as required in support of the business
- 3 – 5 years of experience recruiting for Heavy Equipment Mechanics / Technicians and related skilled trades (Heavy Equipment Dealership recruiting experience is an asset)
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar; a post-graduate certificate in Human Resources or similar designation is an asset
- Experience with UKG / Ultipro Recruiting module
- A skilled trades license (421A; 310T is an asset)
- English written and spoken, bilingual (English / French) is an asset
