- 0.50 FTE Continuing Position plus 0.50 FTE Temporary Position (yearly grant dependant); commencing with the 2026-2027 school year
- Prime area of division leadership: Second Language Learning from K-12 (French Immersion and Core French)
- To support and enhance the ideals of Catholic education
- To promote and support Second Language Instruction in all grades from K to Grade 12
- To provide professional learning based on teacher needs and school division direction
- To take a leadership role in division planning related to second language instruction
- To work in collaboration with teachers, school-based administration and teams, department heads, classroom teachers, professional learning communities, networks, division office personnel, the Ministry of Education, and outside agencies
- Participate in Learning Services planning and the collaborative delivery of the plan
- Commitment to the ideals and principles of Catholic education
- Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching Certificate
- Fluent in the French language
- Strong and demonstrated understanding of Quality Core Instruction and the GSCS Student Learning Model
- Knowledge and practice of culturally responsive and relational pedagogy
- Demonstrated ability in instructional leadership in collaboration with division and school teams
- Job-embedded support to accompany colleagues on their learning paths
- Curating pedagogically sound resources for ease of accessibility
- A Master\'s degree is encouraged
- Knowledge of evidence-based second language pedagogy and strong base in second language acquisition, programming, assessment strategies, and supportive technology
- Current in effective classroom assessment practices
- Ability to analyze, reflect and adopt strategies for a wide range of students
- Design and direct program development
- Demonstrated leadership in curriculum actualization and collaboration
- Work in ways that build relationships, capacity, teamwork, empowerment, and hope
- Assume duties and responsibilities in response to emerging needs in alignment with division goals
- Assist with assessment and evaluation of student learning and programming
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
