Develop and manage robust, scalable databases and applications
Write effective APIs to support front-end and mobile platforms
Oversee and contribute to code deployments, updates, and system improvements
Build mobile-responsive features and applications
Write and maintain technical documentation
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to enhance functionality
Guide and mentor junior developers, providing technical insights and feedback
Evaluate and implement AI tools that improve productivity and code quality
Champion best practices for AI-assisted development and integration
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
Participate in system architecture decisions and technology selection
Coordinate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies
The successful candidate has:
6+ years of experience in software development, ideally in FinTech, SaaS, or a related industry
A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field
Strong proficiency in Elixir and familiarity with other languages like Python, React, or SwiftUI
Proven experience using AI-powered development tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, SuperGrok)
Experience leading Agile projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams
Advanced understanding of financial principles, SaaS models, and digital platforms
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Must pass a criminal record check and be eligible to work in Canada
Nice to haves:
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, financial software, or family office platforms
Background in AI/ML integration or prompt engineering
Experience mentoring teams through tech adoption and change
Compensation and benefits:
The discussed salary range is $100,000 – $140,000 depending on experience
Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered
