Join us.YOUR IMPACTThe Senior SAP Systems Analyst will be a key expert in SAP master data with a strong focus on data integration using SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS). This global role offers high visibility and impact across multiple teams, contributing directly to OpenText’s enterprise data strategy.WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
  • Lead the migration of legacy master data from acquired companies into OpenText systems, ensuring alignment with business requirements and processes.
  • Utilize BODS for end-to-end ETL processes, including data extraction, transformation, and loading into SAP.
  • Leverage BODS to cleanse, validate, and enrich master data, ensuring high standards of data quality and consistency.
  • Troubleshoot data-related issues and collaborate with technical teams to resolve integration and transformation challenges.
  • Serve as the lead analyst on projects involving BODS, overseeing planning, mapping, and loading of external data into SAP.
  • Work with master data objects such as Customer, Vendor, Material, and Finance within the SAP ERP ecosystem.
  • Ensure data integrity, performance, and governance while managing tasks across technical teams of developers and analysts.
  • Awareness of underlying SAP Physical tables, relationships and ability to run ad-hoc extracts
  • Lead ETL process for various workstreams using SSMS, SQL queries, HANA Studio.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
  • SAP Expertise: Strong understanding of SAP master data structures, tables, and dependencies.
  • BODS Proficiency: Experience with SAP BusinessObjects Data Services for data integration and quality. Experience in HANA Studio and running ad-hoc queries
  • Data Analysis: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and resolve data quality issues.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex data-related challenges.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Data Governance: Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices.
  • SQL: Working knowledge of SQL for data querying and validation.
  • MS Office Suite: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., computer science, information technology, engineering).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP master data management.
  • Experience with SAP data entry transactions and table structures.
