Reporting to the Manager, Indirect Tax Projects & Systems, the Analyst will have the primary responsibility to perform quality assurance and testing prior to system and project launches, support on key business system initiatives, and work collaboratively with the Financial Systems and IT teams.core responsibilitiesPerform user acceptance testing to validate outcomes from transaction tax perspective.Review financially relevant reporting from various systems (Vertex, Oracle EBS, ReSA, etc.) to ensure data integrity.Reconcile sales transactions to assert completeness.Ensure correct and accurate tax calculations based the place and nature of supply.Validate invoice requirements as required by indirect tax law.Work cross-functionally across finance and technology to complete testing in a timely manner.Compile all backup necessary for management sign off decisions.Support current strategies and portfolios of work.Work with cross-functional partners to align on strategic projects.Support management in building out solutions for key projects and/or programs.Participate in l meetings and conversations pertaining to key areas of your work.qualificationsEffective communication skills (written & verbal).Extremely organized, thorough, and able to prioritize.Detail orientated.Self-directed problem solver, proactive and resourceful.Responsible, dependable, and mature, with sound judgment.Ability and willingness to accept and provide feedback.Great communication skills and the ability to work within cross-functional teams.Excellent team player as well as the ability to work independently.Adapt quickly, learn from failures, and move forward.must havesEducation in accounting, with experience and/or interest in tax is an asset.Pursuing a professional accounting designation is an asset.Analytical competence with keen interest in problem solving.Dedicated to development both professionally and personally.Comfortable working with databases and/or spreadsheets.Acknowledge the presence of choice in every moment and take personal responsibility for your life.Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovate to achieve great results.Communicate with honesty and kindness and create the space for others to do the same.Lead with courage, knowing the possibility of greatness is bigger than the fear of failure.Foster connection by putting people first and building trusting relationships.Integrate fun and joy as a way of being and working, aka doesn't take yourself too seriously.additional notesAuthorization to work in Canada is required for this role.compensation and benefits packagelululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $55,300-$72,600 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
