As the VP, Commercial Insurance - Complex Risk, you will lead the delivery and growth of complex risk solutions for sophisticated commercial clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Client Advisory & Complex Risk Solutions:
o Act as a senior advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance on risk identification, mitigation, and transfer solutions.
- Business Development & Growth:
o Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships through cross-selling specialized products and services.
- Market Engagement & Carrier Relationships:
o Leverage market expertise to negotiate competitive coverage structures and pricing strategies.
- Leadership & Collaboration:
o Mentor and support team members, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture within the complex risk practice.
- Strategic Planning & Execution:
o Monitor market trends and emerging risks to proactively position the organization as a leader in complex risk advisory.Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following:
- Education & Experience:
o 10+ years of experience in commercial insurance, with a strong focus on complex or large-risk accounts.
- Technical Skills:
o Strong knowledge of insurance markets, policy wordings, and risk transfer mechanisms.
