Responsibilities:When your actions lead to success:

Minimize production interruptions through troubleshooting and production equipment maintenance and rebuilds in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications and using safe operating procedures.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and auxiliary equipment.
Respond to mechanical breakdowns and ensure proper functioning on completion.
Diagnosing situational and ongoing problems; assess and repair breakdowns.
Fabricate parts using machine shop equipment.
To improve efficiency and safety, use parts and techniques to modify equipment operation and guarding.
Machine installation or moves as required including set-up and pre-start.

Qualifications:When your expertise drives us:

Certificate of qualification – Millwright. Red Seal.
Experience in Manufacturing, Industrial environment.
Certification in machine shop equipment (ie: lathe, milling, welder).
Excellent knowledge of machines and their capacity.
Flexibility, adaptable team player with excellent organizational, time management and planning skills.
Strong communication (written and verbal), computer skills.
Priority driven, self-motivated with a positive attitude.
Flexible and able to work shifts, varied or steady schedules.
