The best part is that you will work with people that care passionately about you, our clients and our communities.As the Senior Systems Developer you will be a driving member of an integral team responsible for developing system-based solutions by formulating programs, developing and maintaining codes and documenting processes for consistency and continuous improvement. You will contribute to a range of highly complex and diverse team initiatives and provide training and support to the members of your team.Technologies you have experience with:
  • Expertise in Visual Studio, C#, VB.NET, Microsoft MVC, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS jQuery and JavaScript.
  • Extensive experience with API integration, including, JSON, XML, REST and SOAP and advanced knowledge of SQL Server including Transact-SQL.
  • Familiarity with Azure API Management, Azure DevOps and Microsoft Azure Cloud.
  • AI-assisted development (e.g., GitHub Copilot), including prompt engineering and reusable prompts, with a strong understanding of secure, responsible AI use in regulated environments.
How you will create impact:
  • Leading the process of developing a cohesive plan to determine technologies and options for a working solution.
  • Developing new code and leveraging existing code to implement system features of medium to large complexity.
  • Creating an implementation and troubleshooting plan for a single system.
  • Identifying and recommending solutions for application defects, determining root causes and minimizing the introduction of new defects.
  • Performing unit testing and project management activities for small, medium and large initiatives, leading system development project teams and providing guidance to junior team members.
To join our team:
  • Diploma or degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, with at least 7 years' experience in IT, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong understanding of technical components and interfaces to other applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of multiple job-related programming languages, environments, tools, applications and the technologies used.
  • Competent in various SDLC, delivery methodologies and architectural standards.

Salary information​Expected salary range $72,847 to $121,411Salary placement​“The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.”​Incentive/Variable pay ​“Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics.”​
