The primary role of the Mechanical Supervisor is the direct supervision of the underground and surface mechanical personnel to ensure that all mobile and fixed equipment are maintained, repaired and functioning according to project requirements, and safety standards. The Mechanical Foreman is required to work closely with the Project Superintendent regarding the production goals and the role the maintenance department plays in achieving them. Requirement and Work Experience:Journeyman Certificate (421A) (preferred)1-week Redpath Mechanical Supervisor Orientation7+ years' experience as a Heavy-Duty Technician (preferred)5+ years' experience in the mining industry2+ years' experience in a lead roleMechanicThe primary role of the Mechanic is to perform preventive maintenance and repairs to diesel, electrical, hydraulic and air operated equipment. This includes mobile equipment hoists, compressors, drills, small tools and miscellaneous equipment of a similar nature.Requirement and Work ExperienceJourneyman level qualification (trade school or college diploma) - (preferred)Minimum of 3 years underground mechanical experienceResponsibilities:Health and Safety:
