The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to uncover and tell original stories aligned with editorial priorities. They will produce field reports and pitch a range of content for digital platforms, which may also be adapted for radio and television as needed.The successful candidate will be responsible for finding compelling, off-the-beaten-path stories within their assignment area, focusing on arts, culture, society, and community life.The videojournalist will be based in Sherbrooke and will report to Emilie Richard, Delegated Executive Editor.The successful candidate will be required to capture images using their phone and present content in a vertical format.You must demonstrate creativity, resourcefulness, rigor, and a high level of independence. You should have an excellent ability to make information clear and accessible. You must be able to work effectively under pressure, conduct your own research, gather material, shape it, and present it confidently across multiple platforms.
