We’re looking for a Senior UI Designer based in Toronto or Ottawa for our client, a public sector not-for-profit. This 6 month, full time contract will be working on exciting healthcare related projects.If you are passionate about leading visual design, we’d love you to join our client to help shape the future of digital health tools.What You'll DoLead the creation and maintenance of UI design systems, visual identity, and design standards.Design beautiful, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces for digital platforms and products.Collaborate with UX designers, developers, and content teams to deliver cohesive designs.Guide internal teams and vendors to ensure brand consistency and quality across all products.Create templates, design components, and reusable assets to support scalable design.Review and refine work for accessibility compliance (WCAG, AODA) and design excellence.Stay ahead of design trends and introduce innovative approaches to enhance user experience.What We're Looking For7+ years of experience in UI and visual design for digital products.Expertise with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).Strong understanding of design systems, typography, layout, iconography, and color usage.Experience designing within accessibility standards (WCAG, AODA).Knowledge of HTML5/CSS and familiarity with front-end development principles.Collaborative team player with excellent communication and presentation skills.Bonus: Knowledge of data visualization techniques and bilingualism (English/French).If you’re interested in shaping the visual design of impactful healthcare products and dashboards, we’re love to hear from you.
