Position Type: Permanent Full-Time (Core/Flex)We are currently accepting expressions of interest for a Permanent Full-Time Primary Care Paramedic position at our Thorhild station.Associated Ambulance has proudly served Albertans for over 40 years and is currently the second-largest ambulance operator in the province. We deliver Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) services across 23 rural Alberta communities. If you're a Primary Care Paramedic looking to launch or grow your EMS career, we invite you to become part of the Associated Ambulance Team—We Are Here For Life.This permanent position operates on a Core/Flex schedule, with a rotation of four (4) days on, followed by four (4) days off.As a member of our team, you’ll contribute to our shared commitment to quality care, patient safety, and employee well-being. These priorities align with the Core Values and Strategic Direction of Associated Ambulance and are essential performance expectations in every role.Qualifications & Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) program.
  • Active registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics (ACoP) as a PCP.
  • Current Basic Life Support – Healthcare Provider (BLS-HCP) certification.
  • Valid Class 4 Alberta Operator’s License with a clean driving abstract (abstract must show no serious traffic safety violations and will be requested).
  • Successful completion of the Functional Abilities Recruitment Evaluation (F.A.R.E.) within six (6) months prior to the start date.
  • Ability to commit fully to the full-time schedule—please disclose any potential conflicts in your Expression of Interest (EOI).
