We are seeking an experienced Senior Warehouse Manager with a strong background in Tier 1 or OEM automotive. This role is responsible for overseeing production planning, materials coordination, inventory control, and scheduling to ensure on-time delivery and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage production schedules based on customer forecasts and plant capacity
  • Lead material planning and inventory management to support JIT manufacturing
  • Maintain and optimize ERP/MRP system accuracy and data integrity
  • Monitor and report on KPIs, including on-time delivery, inventory levels, and production performance
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve workflow issues
  • Supervise and develop a team of production control planners
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste
Requirements:
  • 5–7+ years of experience in a Tier 1 or OEM automotive environment
  • Advanced understanding of ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or JIT systems
  • Candidate must possess quantifiable working knowledge of TPS, 5M1E analysis, Heijunka boards, and warehouse layout and space planning
  • Proven success in production leveling, Kanban production planning & systems
  • Demonstrated track record in safety planning and execution
  • APICS/CPIM certification preferred
