The Senior Financial Analyst will bring strong analytical and modelling skills, a solid understanding of financial statements and consolidation, and a high level of attention to detail. The role focuses on producing clear, reliable financial insights that support decision-making at the Group and executive level.Job DescriptionWhat You'll Do:Financial Planning & Forecasting
- Maintain and, where appropriate, enhance the Group's five-year, three-statement financial model.
- Develop scenario and sensitivity models to support corporate initiatives and key business decisions.
- Consolidate Group forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans in Vena, and support analysis, reporting, and presentation of these plans to stakeholders.
- Own the budgeting and forecasting of selected expense lines, as required.
- Build and maintain financial models to support accurate forecasting and planning across:
- Group consolidation adjustments and eliminations
- Below-EBITDA P&L items and related cash flow impacts
- Group balance sheet and cash flow statements
- Restricted Group EBITDA, Restricted Group Net Debt, covenant leverage ratios, and liquidity headroom
- Support month-end and quarter-end processes, including preparation of Group management accounts.
- Prepare and enhance quarterly Business Unit reporting and analysis templates, including KPI collection and variance analysis.
- Produce Group reporting packs with clear Business Unit breakdowns and supporting commentary.
- Perform Group-wide three-statement analysis, including SG&A and free cash flow analysis, to identify key trends and insights.
- Support lender reporting, including tracking covenant metrics and liquidity versus expectations, where required.
- Assist with investor reporting in collaboration with the Head of Investor Relations.
- Prepare Group-wide budget, forecast, and long-range plan materials for the Executive team and Board, highlighting key assumptions, risks, opportunities, and trends.
- Act as a key FP&A stakeholder and analytical contributor on system implementations or upgrades that impact planning, forecasting, or reporting.
- Work with divisional finance teams to simplify and improve month-end and management reporting processes, leveraging Power BI or similar tools.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve FP&A processes, data quality, and reporting efficiency across the Group.
- Partner closely with Business Unit Finance, Accounting, Financial Reporting, Treasury, Tax, and HR teams to ensure alignment and smooth financial operations.
- Deliver ad-hoc financial analysis and support special projects as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience in FP&A, preferably in a Group or corporate FP&A environment.
- Advanced Excel and Power BI skills (including Power Query), with the ability to build scalable, decision-grade models and reports.
- Strong data fluency, with the ability to independently source, validate, and interpret complex financial and operational datasets.
- Experience of working in challenging data environments, and/or experience in working on projects that re-architect data environments
- Solid technical accounting foundation, including IFRS, consolidated financial statements, and the linkage between P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
- A naturally curious and commercially minded approach, with a desire to understand the underlying drivers of business performance.
- Experience working with financial reporting tools and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate analysis into clear, actionable insights.
- High attention to detail, strong organization skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
