- Supporting and executing sales strategies and tools to enable delivery of quality investment and financial advice that meet members’ needs, incorporating sustainable solutions to balance business opportunities and compliance to drive Sustainable Wealth Management (SWM) business growth
- Continuously build business and financial planning acumen of member facing staff in SWM in order to facilitate and/or deliver a great member experience and grow and maintain a membership base that is loyal, deep and committed to Vancity
- Delivering results: targeted sales, net earnings and referral objectives for the wealth solutions business line
- Monitoring and managing the service delivery and problem resolution of the staff according to established service standards and expectations for great service experience of member’s financial planning needs
- Assisting the Regional Manager in the development and execution of plans to achieve financial objectives for Sustainable Wealth Management
- Building a team of increasingly capable direct reports, including moving talent where we need them when we need them and exercising agile leadership
- Providing guidance and support to direct reports for complaint and issue resolution and direct handling of escalations
- Travelling between branches to meet and coach planners

You use these to influence your decision making, to diagnose challenges and issues, develop innovative business solutions and assess risks and opportunities that may affect the unit and or designated unit.
- A Personal Financial Planner or Certified Financial Planner designation
- Post secondary degree in business administration
- 3-5 years of financial industry experience in any one of the following: investment banking, financial advisory, life insurance, wealth management, retail lending, retail banking
- Experience in Management of an IROC or MFDA platform is asset
- Former People Leadership experience
- Furthered training in Coaching and Training
