From concept through execution and closeout, we bring projects to life with deep technical expertise, self-perform capabilities, and a True Blue commitment to doing things right.As a Project Controls Lead, you will play a critical leadership role on major industrial projects ranging from $50M to $1B+, providing strategic direction and hands-on oversight of cost, schedule, progress, and performance. As part of Ledcor’s multi discipline, self-performing organization—executing up to 90% of our work in-house—you’ll influence outcomes across the full project lifecycle while mentoring and supporting project controls team members in the field.This role is ideal for an experienced project controls professional who thrives in a site-based environment, partners closely with operations and leadership, and brings clarity and discipline to complex projects through strong systems, data-driven insights, and proactive decision-making.At Ledcor, it’s not just about delivering successful projects—it’s about building a meaningful career alongside people who value integrity, teamwork, grit, and pride in craftsmanship.Essential Responsibilities:
  • Prepare complex reports in Excel for internal and external distribution
  • Compile, review, analyze, and present large quantities of data via the progress monitoring tool
  • Facilitates the tracking of project milestones and financial deadlines; assistance with the creation of the project schedule; inputs and updates schedule throughout the project
  • Responsible for the administration and technical support for various in-house database applications
  • Supports the subcontract management process by providing assistance with the review and processing of invoices and progress claims, and assistance with the review of documents and inquiries
  • Influence method and format of tables, charts and reports
  • Continuously improve project administrative processes and procedures to enhance efficiencies for the projects
  • Set up the project Control Budget and responsible for monitoring and reporting on progress of schedule and productivity vs. budget. Perform budget updates as required
  • Implement Ledcor systems and procedures including progress draws for project billings and the cost accounting system at project start-up and maintain throughout the project
Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in project controls within industrial or large-scale construction environments
  • Proven experience leading cost and schedule controls on engineering and construction projects
  • Advanced knowledge of project cost systems, productivity tracking, earned value, and performance measurement
  • Strong scheduling experience with Primavera P6; TILOS experience considered an asset
  • Experience with InEight – InEight Control, InEight Plan, InEight Change
  • Strong understanding of project controls terminology, workflows, and interfaces with construction and engineering teams
  • Experience in contract management
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams in a site-based environment
