As the Engineering & R&D Director, you'll lead a multidisciplinary team (electrical, mechanical, automation) to drive innovation and product excellence.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Providing strategic technical leadership for both Engineering and R&D teams.
- Ensuring the feasibility, quality, and manufacturability of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrohydraulic solutions.
- Fostering collaboration between engineering, production, sales, and quality functions.
- Overseeing new product development from concept to testing, aligned with market needs and cost goals.
- Leading electrical design projects and coordinating with suppliers on components and systems.
- Implementing best practices in design documentation, testing, and product standardization.
- Ensuring corrective and preventive actions following non-conformities.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of engineering leadership experience within a manufacturing environment (fluid power systems preferred).
- Member of the Quebec Order of Engineers (OIQ).
- Proven expertise in electrical design and integration of hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrohydraulic systems.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar design tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management abilities.
- Fully bilingual (English & French).
- Hands-on technical background with power and electrical systems is a strong asset.
