Your strong analytical and communication skills will help you interpret legislation, prepare formal responses and collaborate across the organization to strengthen transparency and compliance.If you’re a collaborative problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, professional environment and is motivated by protecting information and supporting organizational accountability, this could be the role for you.What you’ll doProcess and respond to requests under the Privacy Act and Access to Information ActResearch, analyze, and interpret privacy and access legislation, policies, and directivesPrepare formal written responses and recommendations related to privacy and access obligationsSupport privacy impact assessments and investigate certain privacy breach incidentsMaintain records and documentation to demonstrate transparency and complianceCollaborate with internal and external partners to enhance privacy awareness and program effectivenessPrepare briefing notes and notifications for senior management for contentious requests and incidentsDevelop and maintain privacy policies, procedures, guidance materials and training contentWhat you’ll bring to the teamRequired qualifications:A degree in administration, business, information management, communication or a related fieldAt least four years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)Working knowledge of the Privacy Act and the Access to Information ActStrong analytical, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a professional office environmentAbility to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalismIntermediate proficiency in both official languages (English and French)Preferred qualifications:Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools (e.g., SharePoint, OneNote, Teams) and records management practicesPrivacy or access‑related certification (e.g., IAPP CIPP/C, CIPM) or willingness to obtainNot sure you meet every requirement?
