Job Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday, with Saturday availability a plus)Job Description:We are seeking a dependable and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team for local deliveries throughout Greater Montreal. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a 53-foot refrigerated trailer, handling refrigerated goods, and ensuring timely deliveries.Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a 53-foot refrigerated trailer for local deliveries within Greater Montreal.
- Manage and maintain refrigerated cargo, ensuring proper handling and temperature control.
- At time may be required to load and unload your own truck, including handling freight in the warehouse when necessary.
- Use forklift equipment to assist with loading and unloading (forklift license required).
- Perform basic mechanical checks and routine maintenance on the vehicle.
- Assist with warehouse tasks when deliveries are not scheduled.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure safe transportation.
- Valid Class 1 Driver’s License.
- Experience with refrigerated trailer operations.
- Knowledge of local routes within Greater Montreal.
- Forklift license is required.
- Basic mechanical knowledge of trucks and trailers.
- Ability to load/unload cargo independently.
- Strong safety and customer service orientation.
- Flexibility to work Monday to Friday, with Saturday availability preferred.
