IT Security Analyst

• Develop, implement, and monitor security protocols to protect systems and data from unauthorized access.
• Conduct regular assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate remediation strategies.
• Manage and configure security tools such as Windows Defender, SIEM solutions, and Zscaler.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) frameworks.
• Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents to promptly address potential threats.
• Maintain and enhance firewall and cloud security configurations to ensure robust protection.
• Provide expertise in aligning organizational security measures with industry standards such as NIST.
• Deliver regular reports on security performance and risk assessments to stakeholders.
• Stay informed of emerging threats and technologies to continuously improve security posture.
• Train and support team members in security best practices and procedures.
• 5 years of proven experience in IT security, including cyber security and vulnerability management.
• Proficiency in security tools such as Windows Defender, SIEM platforms, and Zscaler.
• Strong knowledge of governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) principles.
• Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks such as NIST.
• Hands-on experience with firewall and cloud security technologies.
• Ability to assess and mitigate security risks effectively.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with teams and present findings clearly.
