- Reporting to the Senior Vice-President, Marketing, and working closely with Executive, leadership and other stakeholders, oversee the development and execution of the marketing strategy for MNP in BC
- Ensure the alignment of marketing programs, partnerships and brand-building activities to the broader business strategy, emphasizing a full-funnel approach to marketing
- Work alongside the senior members of the broader Marketing management team across Canada to help shape annual national priorities and ensure continued national and regional alignment and collaboration with those priorities
- Manage and develop a high-performing team of marketing professionals through coaching, direction, and alignment
- Ensure alignment and consistency of MNP’s marketing strategy, processes, brand, templates, and quality standards across all team members in BC
- Ensure team members are developing appropriate and strong relationships with key stakeholders (for example, Executive Vice-President for BC, Regional Managing Partners in BC, National Marketing team members)
- Encourage presence and activity in the external marketplace (for example, demonstrate engagement through social, digital, and in-person participation in key communities and events within their relevant markets)
- Create an environment which promotes a collaborative culture of teaming, innovation, entrepreneurship, and creativity within both their direct team and across the entire MNP marketing function
- Contribute to the creation of firm marketing programs, plans and processes
- Provide business area context, knowledge and insights when offering guidance and support for major corporate programs, initiatives, and projects
- Overall accountability to manage and monitor the marketing budget for BC, leveraging the senior marketing team members in the province to have day-to-day management responsibility
- Drive best practices and efficiencies across both their direct team and the broader MNP marketing function
- Completion of post-secondary education in Marketing (or similar, relevant qualification) preferred
- Minimum of 8-10 years experience, including creation of Marketing strategy for a large demographic and demonstrated success leading and mentoring teams and direct reports
- Ability to build effective marketing plans, budgets, teams, and development of processes
- Exceptional influencing and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to build strong and trusted relationships with leaders at all levels of the business
- Exceptional understanding of the competitive environment, and knowledge of how to support market intelligence activities with team members to build plans that support MNP’s market positioning.
- Experience working within professional services or a matrix environment considered an asset
- Proficiency with D365, Microsoft Office, Database Marketing, Web, Digital and Social Media platforms
