Work in a variety of areas, which may include sorting, stacking, and piling lumber
Handling and lifting materials
Operate production equipment as assigned
Assist other processing workers
Routine maintenance and cleaning of the sawmill or planer equipment, ensuring their proper functioning and promptly reporting any malfunctions or issues to the team.
Other general labourer responsibilities
Repetitive tasks
Strict adherence to company safety standards and follow Safe work practices such as Lock-out, Pre-task hazard assessments, etc.
Standing for extended periods
You have:
Desire to learn, grow and succeed
Strong organizational and communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and crew-building skills
The flexibility to work all shifts
Valid driver’s license
Good physical condition
Ability to work on repetitive tasks
Ability to work as a positive team member
Strong commitment to following all safety guidelines and protocols, wearing the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and taking precautions to maintain a safe work environment.
Reliable and Excellent work ethic
Grade 12 diploma
