- Complete and accurate daily processing of internal and external billings for some of our material supply divisions (asphalt plant, cement, and RCI sites).
- Process hired truck tickets for asphalt sales.
- Assist customers with invoicing questions, investigate and provide copies or reports as needed.
- Provide inventory support – reconcile inventory usage to sales, code invoices for outside purchases, post inventory transfers between sites
- Document managing – filing invoices and material tickets
- Assist the accounting department with other admin duties (accounts payable, timesheet entry, material costing) and vacation relief.
- Minimum grade 12 education, preference given to someone with some accounting courses or prior experience with billing and/or inventory control
- Must be detail orientated with sound judgement skills and a sense of reasonability
- Strong communication skills, both written & verbal
- A strong operating knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Explorer eclipse experience as asset.
- Comfortable talking to operations, sales, management, and external customers
- A positive, team-oriented outlook towards their colleagues both within and outside of the Accounting Department
- A commitment to meeting deadlines, shows initiative, good problem solving skills, and good math skills
- Able to work 8 hours/day, M-F, willing to work some overtime if required, and can commit to staying until end of season – approx. Oct 31.
