- Manage and deliver on time, engineering projects and activities related to major milestones for one of many existing and/or new platforms;
- Manage cross-functional teams in the establishment of scope, schedule and budget of engineering projects;
- Lead and coordinate technical Engineering Change planning, ensuring completeness and harmonization with stakeholders;
- Enforce adherence to Bombardier practices and Knowledge Standards to promote integrity and consistency in technical engineering activities
- Work closely with technical experts, business leaders, suppliers, and customer representatives to ensure adherence and compliance of projects scope, schedule, and budget;
- Manage and establish engineering related priorities between projects and activities, complete strategic schedule analysis, and communicate and harmonize these priorities;
- Identify and report on risks and lead risk mitigation planning and execution;
- Participate and/or coordinate within the internal safety and security processes to assess, contain, and correct potential product deficiencies with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Prepare and provide visibility of budget requirement / resource allocation;
- Prepare and present visibility reports for the various levels of the organization;
- Coordinate Integrated Product Development Team (IPDT) cross-functional reviews;
- Coordinate and manage multi-site activities and remote participation as necessary;
- Coordinate formal engineering document release (Drawings, ModSums, Compliance Documents, Service Bulletins etc..);
- You have an Engineering degree, or relevant diploma with equivalent working experience, with 8 years or more in project management or aerospace;
- You are familiar with Program/Project Management processes and principles;
- You have sound aircraft technical and/or manufacturing experience;
- You have previous experience in structural and / or systems development (an asset).
- You demonstrate a professional attitude and superior communication skills;
- You have excellent organizational, time management skills, foresight, accuracy, attention to detail and commitment to objectives and responsibilities;
- You have a natural leadership and pro-active attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities;
- You are self-motivated, autonomous, enthusiastic and results oriented;
- You are technically curious;
- You demonstrate ability to work willingly and independently in a fast paced, challenging environment;
- You have effective problem-solving skills with ability to make good decisions to move projects along to meet or exceed the targets;
- You have good computing skills; proficient in MS Office and experience with MS Excel and MS Project is an asset.
