Home Care offers a range of services tailored to meet individual needs, including support for acute care, chronic and palliative conditions. These services are determined through standardized assessments to assist in creating individualized plans of care; and are supported by an interdisciplinary team, consisting of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Registered Nurses, Social Workers, Recreational Therapists, and Home Support Workers.Yukon's Department of Health and Social Services aims to promote, protect, and enhance the well-being of Yukon people through a continuum of quality, accessible, and appropriate health and social services.Your roleWe are looking for a dynamic individual to provide clinical care services for clients who require therapy services in the community of Whitehorse. The Physiotherapist is responsible for providing professional physiotherapy services and care coordination services including; client assessments, treatments/interventions, development of comprehensive care plans for individuals of all ages with a broad range of physical and psycho-social disabilities to enhance, maintain or restore each client's ability to function at an optimal level in all chosen roles. The physiotherapist will work to build positive working relationships with key stakeholders based on mutual trust and respect and work collaboratively with other health care professionals and community partners.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy
  • Recent experience as a Physiotherapist, providing assessment and treatment

  • Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
  • A valid & current licence to practice physiotherapy in the Yukon obtained through The Professional Licensing & Regulatory Affairs Branch (Community Services)
