
Events Manager

- Lead the planning and execution of Dealer and corporate event programs, including Homecoming, Strategic Updates, Annual General Meetings, Golf Tournaments and Supplier Partnership Meetings.
- Lead and manage a high-performing events team, providing strategic direction and day-to-day support. This includes coaching team members in their professional growth, fostering a collaborative and empowering environment, and enabling them to independently deliver high-quality events aligned with our goals.
- Manage Team Member social events portfolio.
- Develop and manage annual event strategies, budgets, and schedules.
- Oversee event logistics such as venues, AV, catering, invitations, travel, and billing.
- Build and manage relationships with agencies, vendors, and external event partners.
- Lead cross-functional teams (Merchandising, Marketing, Communications, IT, Dealer Support, etc.) to ensure seamless event delivery.
- Track, analyze, and report on post-event results, finances, incorporating feedback to enhance future events.
- Support additional event initiatives as required by the Director of Communications.
- Diploma in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Eight to ten years of progressive experience in event planning, team leadership, program management.
- Proven success managing large-scale corporate and Dealer events (e.g. Tradeshows, Town Halls, Strategic Updates, Annual General Meetings, Supplier Partnership Meetings, Golf Tournaments, etc.).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating the highest level of professionalism.
- Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, with accountability for timelines and budgets.
- High attention to detail, with strong analytical skills to design proactive, targeted solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coordinate, and motivate cross-functional and external teams.
- Agile, solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience with virtual, hybrid, and in-person event platforms, reporting, and tradeshow management.
- Advanced organizational and time management skills, with the flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including advanced knowledge of Excel.
- The ability to be onsite three days a week at our corporate office in St. Jacobs, to accommodate our hybrid working model.
