Wherever compassionate care is needed, HealthOPM is there.We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide one-on-one care for a client in a Retirement Home setting in Burlington, ON.Position Details:Schedule: 3 hours in the morning & 3 hours in the evening
Days: 7 days per week

Join our team to provide personalized support in a retirement home environment, ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety for our client.Highlights:One-on-one client-focused careSupportive and respectful care environmentConsistent weekly scheduleOpportunity to build meaningful client relationshipsQuick Information:Compensation: $19 – $21/hourRequirements:Valid PSW CertificateVulnerable Sector Check (within 6 months)TB Test (up-to-date)CPR/First Aid (asset)Previous retirement home or private care experience (asset)Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Strong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work independentlyCompassionate, patient, and professional demeanorStrong time management and organizational skillsExperience in dementia care (asset)Reliable attendance and positive work recordKey Responsibilities:Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)Assist with morning and evening routines (hygiene, dressing, grooming)Support mobility and safe transfersAssist with meal preparation and feeding if requiredMonitor and report changes in the clients conditionMaintain accurate documentation as requiredPromote client dignity, independence, and comfortFollow Infection Prevention and Control practicesMaintain a safe and respectful environment
