Posting Description:BROKER – VICE PRESIDENT - PROFESSIONAL SERVICES PRACTICEAon (Bermuda) Ltd. provides clients with specialist insurance broking, reinsurance expertise and consultancy services. This spirit of inclusiveness sits at our core.Your daily responsibilities and impact:This position involves the design, placement, negotiation and servicing of Professional Indemnity, Employment Practices Liability, and Management Liability insurance programs with Bermuda based insurers. It will require considerable interaction with senior underwriters, clients and overseas executives. There will be international travel required, as well as frequent entertainment of clients outside of normal business hours.Required skills and experience that will lead to success:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business related or legal field;
  • A minimum of five years of recent and relevant broking experience transacting with U.S., Bermuda and/or International markets in the business lines referenced above, with a specific focus on Mid-Tier and Major Accountants Professional Indemnity placements.
  • Broking experience with large global Accounting, Consulting and Law firms is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software, such as Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Webex.
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills;
  • Demonstrates excellent emotional intelligence and good judgement in negotiations and collaborations;
  • Innovative strategy and product development skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as presentation skills;
  • Ability to organize, prioritize workflows and pivot as needed to meet demanding timelines;
  • Acts with immediacy.
