You'll work across multiple teams to ensure high-performance, secure, and scalable virtual desktop experiences for all users globally. Your role will focus on automating processes, optimising performance, and streamlining onboarding across our AVD environment.The opportunity:
- Design, deploy, and maintain the AVD platform, ensuring security, performance, and scalability.
- Manage and configure Nerdio Manager for Enterprise to orchestrate AVD workloads.
- Monitor FSLogix profiles and solve issues impacting user experience.
- Automate deployment of images, session hosts, applications, and profiles.
- Support and enhance onboarding, training, and documentation processes.
- Create and manage AVD-related Intune and Conditional Access policies.
- Analyse usage trends and identify improvements for end-user experience.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and support teams across the organisation.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Azure Virtual Desktop or Windows Virtual Desktop in production environments.
- Strong knowledge of FSLogix, Conditional Access, Azure AD, and Intune policies.
- Experience using Azure management tools, including PowerShell, Azure Portal, and ARM/Bicep templates.
- Proven ability to manage Nerdio Manager for Enterprise in a large-scale setting.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills for engaging with partners and end users.
- Familiarity with ExpressRoute, NSGs, VPNs, and Azure networking components.
- Experience onboarding and supporting users in VDI environments.
- Ability to write and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation.
