You will work in a cross-functional team focused on building and maintaining software for various products and components. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of unique challenges which give you the chance to learn modern technology and grow your skills. This role is hybrid in Toronto, Canada.ResponsibilitiesPrototype, implement, and maintain features and software componentsParticipate in code reviews and improve code quality based on feedbackWrite unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and system stabilityTrouble shoot and fix bugs efficientlyLearn and follow the team’s engineering processes, tools, and architectureCollaborate with the product owner, experience designer and product management teams to review and implement proposed designsBeing agile and using LEAN methodology as an active member of a Scrum teamGather and incorporate user feedback to continuously improve product quality and user experienceProactively learn and share new technologies, stay current with the latest AI trends and actively contribute ideas for integrating AI into our products and workflows that create tangible value for customersMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree or higher in software engineering or equivalent2+ years experience with C++, C# or similarGood understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOA/OOD)Experience in performance tuning, debugging, and system analysisTroubleshooting and problem-solving abilitiesExperience working in a Scrum teamGood communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teamsPreferred QualificationsBackground or education in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry is a big plusExperience with Git or similar source code revision control systemsKnowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipeline, installation, and Test AutomationFamiliarity with computational geometryExperience with C#, .NET, Python.Experience with cloud services and web technologies.Knowledge of databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, SQLite).Practical experience with AI technologies, frameworks, or platformsLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $88,000 and $128,700. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
