- Take orders for parts by telephone or at the front counter for walk-in customers with their parts needs, while effectively maintaining and growing a strong customer base
- Assist all customers (retail and internal) in sourcing and ordering parts in a friendly, professional and efficient manner, and follow-up with all customer phone and message inquiries in a timely manner
- Inform customers of companion part requirements and specials
- Assist in receiving stock and customer freight
- Accurately process all customer transactions such as cost-effective parts returns, orders and quotes
- Assist in stocking store shelves and keeping a clean, organized store
- Assist and participate in yearly inventory counts
- Previous experience in heavy duty or agriculture equipment parts is preferred, but not required
- Committed team player with the ability to work independently and as a team
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills including the ability to use tact, sensitivity, empathy and professionalism when interacting with customers and employees over the phone and in-person
- Strong attention to detail with automotive/equipment systems aptitude and a demonstrated computer efficiency
- The ability to perform physical work which includes repetitive lifting of up to 50lbs
- Valid Drivers License
- Ability to provide a clear criminal record check
