We are happy to have you join our team!Your Role and ResponsibilitiesThe Marketing Student will assist the social media team to update and add new creative ideas to our content and channels. Focusing on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, assist in implementing strategies for creating better curated channels, to engage our current and future employees and customers, while creating new processes and documentation to support this content process in the future.This role will also have opportunities to explore and create graphic design, animation and videography. You will have an opportunity to develop your understanding of key marketing principles with a focus on social strategy and social campaign execution. You will also have the opportunity to help update and implement new strategies and creative ideas to keep our website up to date, creative and innovative.Responsibilities:
  • Assist and analyze social media marketing initiatives
  • Work on development and implementation of systems
  • Assist our Marketing and HR teams in any and all projects
Skills/ Capabilities:
  • Passionate about marketing, social media and a web/app development!
  • Creative mindset, with a focus on how social content can impact employee interactions and employment decisions.
  • Problem solver with a project management mindset to organize and rally new projects around a common goal.
  • Organized and able to move quickly within a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills in order to effectively source information, obtain approvals and build relationships
  • Resourceful, self-starter and proactive
  • Collaborative team player with strong communication skills
Key Requirements: (or Must to Have)
  • Enrolled in College or university co-op program in marketing, advertising, sales, or business administration, Communications or Journalism or equivalent.
  • Exceptional command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation and spelling.
  • Excellent understanding and familiarity with brand building and brand management
Additional Technical and Professional Requirements:
  • Demonstrated passion for marketing, social media, web development and analytics
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in Social Media and native platforms
  • Experience with Adobe products such as Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere pro
  • Experience with innovation and creative design
  • Experience working with Word Press or and technologies is a bonus
