- Support the management team in all aspects of event execution and coordination
- Lead a team of servers and bartenders during events, responding to guest needs and operational challenges as they arise
- Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, colleagues, and senior leadership
- Foster a culture centered around exceptional guest experiences, with a passion for food and wine
- Apply effective conflict resolution and problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations
- Assist with the preparation, setup, and ongoing maintenance of event spaces
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of event menu offerings to confidently assist guests and make recommendations
- Follow all bar, beverage, and wine control procedures with precision
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests to ensure efficient, high-quality service
- Deliver food and beverages to the appropriate tables as directed by the management team
- Maintain a clean and organized environment by clearing tableware and returning items to the dish area
- Monitor and uphold food quality and presentation standards throughout the event
- Consistently meet the O&B technical service standards and attention to detail expectations
- Adhere to all Oliver & Bonacini health, safety, and sanitation protocols
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support successful event execution
- Successful candidates must have reliable transportation and be able to travel independently to and from off-site event locations in Toronto. (Event Locations outside of Toronto- transportation is provided).
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory or management experience in catering or restaurant setting (preferred)
- Valid Smart Serve Certificate required
- Ability to life 30lbs
- Ability to stand for prolong periods
- Strong understanding of service standards and guest experience expectations
