- Departmental Direction: Formulate and articulate a clear vision for the data infrastructure and analytics department, developing data strategies that align with business objectives and drive innovation across all marketing channels.
- Cross-Functional Integration: Collaborate with senior leadership and other departments to integrate analytics into the core decision-making framework of the agency.
- Business Development: Collaborate with account leads to identify client needs, pitch bespoke analytics solutions, and demonstrate value to secure new business opportunities.
- Solution Tailoring: Architect custom analytics solutions that meet specific client requirements, moving beyond "out of the box" reporting to true business intelligence.
- GCP Ecosystem Ownership: Architect, maintain, and scale a robust data warehouse environment within Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will provide end-to-end oversight of BigQuery architecture (including dataset design, partitioning, clustering, and cost optimization) to ensure high-performance querying for agency-wide analytics.
- Unified Data Storage: Lead the integration of structured and unstructured data, leveraging Cloud Storage for data lakes and ensuring a "single source of truth" for all media and client performance data.
- Engineering Best Practices: Define and enforce database design standards and governance protocols. This includes overseeing schema evolution, data modeling, and documentation to ensure the infrastructure is scalable, secure, and accessible for both automated workflows and manual exploration.
- AI Implementation: Lead the charge on AI innovation, specifically the development and optimization of AI agentic workflows (e.g., using Gemini Enterprise, Vertex AI) to drive internal efficiency and external client performance.
- Measurement Frameworks: Define robust KPI frameworks and measurement plans for multi-channel media campaigns, ensuring data integrity across pixel implementation, tag management, and website/app tracking (GA4, Adobe Analytics…) while overseeing complex architectures.
- Advanced Measurement Methodologies: Drive the adoption of sophisticated measurement strategies beyond standard attribution. Knowledge of Media Mix Modeling (MMM), incremental lift studies, and rigorous Test & Learn frameworks to quantify true media impact is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 7+ years of experience in data analytics, with experience within a media agency environment is preferred.
- Leadership: Proven track record of managing teams, resource planning, and mentoring junior to mid-level analysts.
- Media Fluency: Comprehensive knowledge of the media landscape and tracking ecosystems, including GMP (DV360, CM360, SA360), Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, DSPs and other media platforms.
- Technical Mastery:
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (complex queries, process automation, datapipe design), experience with Workflows, Dataform and Database Design (BigQuery).
- Deep understanding of Tag Management (GTM, Adobe Launch) and Web Analytics (GA4, Adobe Analytics).
- Visualization: Expert-level skills in dashboarding and data visualization (Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI) with the ability to harmonize complex data sources.
- Communication: Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills; ability to translate technical complexity into business value for non-technical stakeholders.
- AI & Cloud: Hands-on experience with GCP Vertex AI, Cloud Functions, and building AI chatbots or agents. LLM solutions oriented with knowledge of feature engineering, model deployment, MLOps.
- Development:
- Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS as applied to media tracking and automation.
- Proficiency in Python for statistical modeling and advanced measurement..
