- A 4-year bachelor's degree at a post-secondary education in business, forestry, manufacturing or equivalent experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience providing positive customer experience, with proven relationship and conflict management skills.
- Proven problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to provide multiple solutions to a given challenge.
- High level of ability in Outlook (email management) and Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups).
- Strong understanding of general accounting principles.
- Working knowledge of up and down stream supply chain structure.
- Experience using a sales system (AX or other).
- Experience in forestry or wood products is an asset.
- Gather, analyze, and communicate product supply information to manage working capital and on-time shipment.
- Work to achieve optimum value for Tolko by effectively utilizing container capacity and rates.
- Respond quickly and proactively to supply and demand shifts via market allocation processes.
- Address and suggest actionable changes for product damages or claims for shipments.
- Use problem-solving skills to suggest changes to individual orders when required.
- Create orders and process all shipping and receiving for reman and external purchases.
- Balance and reconcile inventory at origin reloads.
- Liaise with sales and agents closely on customer requirements.
