Family Practice Anesthesiologists (FPA)Our client in PEI is seeking part-time and full-time permanent Family Practice Anesthesiologists (FPA) to join the Department of Anesthesiology in Charlottetown, PEI.The facility is a 243-bed acute care hospital provides emergency, surgical, inpatient and ambulatory care services.The FPA is responsible for the care of adult and pediatric patients before, during and after surgical operations, labour and delivery, and certain interventional procedures. The Physician will provide anesthetic services to patients for surgical, obstetrical, therapeutic and diagnostic procedures. This will include elective and emergency operations, anesthetic consultations, acute care management services, and other anesthetic. FPA physicians will also have the ability to provide support in the Emergency Department, Community Family Medicine or other areas of specialty, if desired.Hours of WorkFull-time or part-time hours and on-call coverage as requiredRemunerationPhysicians have the option of choosing a salary, contract for service, or fee-for-service payment modality.
